“Behold, Children are a gift from the LORD; they are a reward from him.” Psalm-127:3

This year Justin and I are thankful for our biggest blessing that has yet to arrive. There are no words to describe how thankful we are for her. It seems like just yesterday we decided to try and shortly in 5 weeks (or less if she decides to make an early debut) we will be welcoming her into our arms. I can’t wait for the moment I get to look into her face for the first time, to hold her and kiss her.  What a journey it has been… From being told that I would not be able to conceive, much less carry a child to being blessed with an amazing pregnancy I am truly thankful for the entire experience. Pregnancy is an unbelievable experience. It’s surreal to watch a small grainy, grey spot on an ultrasound grow and progress into a baby throughout the months. Really, that life is inside of my body?!?

I can’t imagine what this year would have been like had the Lord not decided it was our time to become parents. With this pregnancy I have so many reasons to be thankful. From the physical symptoms which included minimal discomfort and lack of morning sickness to the most heartfelt and meaningful ones.  We are thankful for the support and love family and friends have shown to us throughout this journey. From those who provided support during our time of struggle, to those who now celebrate with us during this pregnancy, we are grateful and truly thankful for each of you. To those individuals, you will never know how much your continual support, prayers and well wishes mean to us. Lastly, but most importantly, I am thankful for my hardworking, handsome husband. I couldn’t have chosen a better person to have alongside me.  I am blessed to have such a wonderful husband who only wants the simple things in life; a loving wife, a happy home and a family of his own. I couldn’t ask for more in a husband. With each day, he wants to ensure my happiness and that I am taken care of no matter how independent I am. I love this about him, and I know that our daughter is one lucky girl for with each characteristic that makes him an incredible husband and my best friend, he will be an even more amazing daddy.

Happy Thanksgiving & Many Blessings to each of you,
